ČAJ NOT BORDERS - AND A LOT MORE!

As a result of repressive border controls and the dis-functional asylum system, more and more migrants are stuck in Serbia on their way towards the EU. In the last weeks, big numbers of people have been staying on the streets of Belgrade, as a result of this. The problem is the border itself: migrants are excluded from legal means of travel and are thus reduced to travelling “illegally”. Furthermore, once on the territory of Serbia, it is difficult for them to at least temporarily regularise their status. The only way to do this, would be to seek asylum. Without any paper, the illegalisation continues: it is impossible to be accommodated in the hostels and hotels legally (migrants are refused in hostels or being kicked out after 3 days when the “police paper” is not valid anymore). As a result, many people have to sleep outside in the parks of Belgrade.

We want to show our solidarity with no border Serbia, with their political action and their support of refugees with a solidarity Party on
