Dear friends of the psychedelic cinema! We continue our series of events “Psychedelic Cinema” with “The Stairs” and invite you once again to spend a thrilling movie night with subsequent discussion, this time OPEN AIR at Himmel und Wasser with us.

Bring your snacks, drinks can be bought at the bar. We are looking forward to another inspiring evening with you, at the Danube and beneath a sky full of stars!

The Stairs tells the story of Marty, Greg and Roxanne, who each survived decades of street-involvement. Using their experiences to ease the paths of others, they perform social work in their old neighbourhood, while struggling to maintain their newly-found stability. Told over five years, The Stairs examines life on society’s margins. Defying stereotypes through intimate portraits, its remarkable subjects are surprising, funny, shocking and moving.

This time we were also in touch with the director Hugh Gibson who also contributed a special introduction video where he gives us some behind the scenes infos about the making of his 5-year project.
