LET´S KEEP CLAIMING OUR SPACE!

Wir wollen keinen Feminizid mehr unbeantwortet lassen. Wir wollen eine kollektive feministische Praxis. Wir wollen uns Raum nehmen. Deshalb wollen wir den (ehem.) Karlsplatz zu unserem machen.

Ende September haben wir uns unter dem Motto ‚Claim the Space’ am ehemaligen Karlsplatz getroffen und gemeinsam unsere Wut über patriarchale Gewalt auf die Straße getragen. Und wir wollen uns diesen Raum auch in Zukunft gemeinsam nehmen – einen Raum, den wir uns aneignen und an dem wir nach einer kollektiven feministischen Praxis suchen.

**Wir wollen miteinander ins Gespräch kommen, uns kennenlernen und austauschen. **Wir wollen uns Raum nehmen für eine inhaltliche Auseinandersetzung über patriarchale Gewalt und darüber, wie eine weitere Politisierung von Feminiziden aussehen kann. **Wir wollen unser Wissen über feministische Praktiken und Kämpfe miteinander teilen und uns gemeinsam überlegen, wie unsere gemeinsame Praxis in Wien gegen patriarchale Gewalt aussehen kann. **Und wir wollen einen Raum schaffen, um über unsere Wut zu sprechen, aber auch über unsere Trauer, unsere Ohnmacht, unsere Zermürbtheit.

Und wir werden die Diskussion weiterführen, die bei der Platznahme Ende September begonnen wurde: uns überlegen, welchen Namen dieser feministische Raum tragen soll und gemeinsam die feierliche Umbenennung (des ehemaligen Karlsplatzes) planen.

Es lädt ein autonomes, feministisches Kollektiv ein, mit u.a. der AG Feministischer Streik, Kollektiv lauter*, Ni Una Menos Austria, Hispano feministas, Kollektiv antikoloniale Interventionen und vielen mehr.

LET´S KEEP CLAIMING OUR SPACE!

We do no longer want to leave any feminicide unanswered. We want a collective feminist practice. We want to take space for ourselves. Therefore we want to make the (ex.) Karlsplatz our own.

End of September we gathered at the former Karlsplatz under the motto ‘Claim the Space’ and together we expressed our anger about patriarchal violence on the streets. And we want to keep on taking this space together in the future - a space that we appropriate and where we search for a collective feminist practice.

**We want to get into conversation with each other, learn to know each other and have an exchange of thoughts. **We want to take space for a contentual discussion about patriarchal violence and about how a further politicization of feminicides could look like. **We want to share our knowledge about feminist practices and struggles with each other and jointly consider what our common practice in Vienna against patriarchal violence might look like. **And we want to create a space to talk about our anger, as well as about our grief, our powerlessness, our attrition.

And we will continue the discussion that was started when we took the place at the end of September: we will consider what name this feminist space should have and together we will plan the celebratory renaming (of the former Karlsplatz).

¡SIGAMOS RECLAMANDO NUESTRO ESPACIO!

No queremos dejar más feminicidios sin respuesta. Queremos una práctica feminista colectiva. Queremos tomar nuestro espacio. Por eso queremos hacer nuestra la ex. Karlsplatz.

A finales de septiembre nos reunimos en la ex. Karlsplatz bajo el lema “Reclama el espacio” para sacar a la calle nuestra rabia colectiva contra la violencia patriarcal. Queremos seguir tomando este espacio juntes en el futuro, un espacio del que nos estamos apropiando y donde buscamos una práctica feminista colectiva.

**Queremos conversar, conocernos e intercambiar ideas. **Queremos facilitar un espacio para poder tener un debate de contenido sobre la violencia patriarcal y lograr una mayor politización de los feminicidios. **Queremos compartir entre todes nuestros conocimientos y experiencias sobre prácticas y luchas feministas, pensar colectivamente cómo podría ser nuestra práctica común contra la violencia patriarcal en Viena. **Queremos crear un espacio para hablar de nuestra rabia, pero también de nuestra pena, nuestra impotencia, nuestro hartazgo.

Continuaremos la discusión que se inició cuando tomamos la plaza a finales de septiembre: pensaremos en el nombre que debería tener este espacio feminista y planearemos entre todes el renombramiento ceremonial de la antigua ex. Karlsplatz.
