Feminist Solidarity Demo with the Spanish Comrades

TW: Patriarchale Gewalt ist überall, am vergangenen Wochenende erhielten wir schockierende Nachrichten aus Spanien. Ein Vater aus Teneriffa hat seine eigenen Kinder entführt, zwei kleine Mädchen von 6 und 1 Jahr, die seit dem 27. April vermisst wurden. Am Donnerstag, den 10. Juni, das sechsjährige Mädchen wurde in einem Sack auf dem Meeresgrund, beschwert mit dem Anker vom Boot des Vaters. Die Suche nach dem einjährigen Babys und dem Vaters dauert an. Die Kinder waren zu Besuch bei ihrem Vater, der zufolge seiner Ex-Partnerin in einem Telefongespräch in der Nacht sagte, dass sie die Kinder nie wieder sehen würde. Die Eltern waren getrennt und offenbar plante er, die Kinder als “Rache” an der Mutter zu entführen.

In der gleichen Stunde, in der wir diese herzzerreißende Nachricht erhielten, gab es zwei weitere Schocks: der Mörder von Rocío Caíz und Elena Livigni. Rocío, eine 17-jährige junge Frau aus Sevilla, die seit dem 3. Juni vermisst wurde, wurde von ihrem Ex-Partner getötet und zerstückelt, wie er am Donnerstag gegenüber der Polizei gestand. Sie hatte ein vier Monate altes Baby. Im Fall von Elena Livigni geht die Nationalpolizei davon aus, dass es sich bei der jungen Frau, die auf Ibiza von einem Balkon gestürzt wurde, um ein Verbrechen der geschlechtlichen Gewalt handelt, das von ihrem Freund begangen wurde.

In diesem Jahr 2021 ist die Zahl der Frauenmorde in Spanien auf 39 angestiegen. Im letzten Jahr sind 83 und 105 Frauen aufgrund von patriarchaler Gewalt ermordet worden. Außerdem kam letzten Donnerstag Juana Rivas, Mutter von zwei Kindern, ins Gefängnis. Sie wurde zu Unrecht verurteilt, weil sie sich der gerichtlichen Anordnung widersetzte, die beiden Kinder zu ihrem Vater zurückzubringen, um sie zu retten, da dieser bereits mehrfach angezeigt wurde, sie zu missbrauchen.

Wir wissen aus erster Hand von einem weiteren aktuellen Fall, in dem die spanische Justiz den Vergewaltiger eines Kameraden für unschuldig erklärt hat. Und wie auch die anderen ist dies kein Einzelfall.

Am vergangenen Wochenende fanden in ganz Spanien spontane Versammlungen vor jedem Rathaus statt, um gegen die anhaltende sexistische Gewalt und die Frauenmorde zu protestieren. Wir wollen uns mit der feministischen Bewegung in Spanien solidarisieren, unsere Ablehnung gegen all diese Art von patriarchaler Gewalt, die auch von den offiziellen Institutionen ausgeübt wird, verbreiten. Dazu rufen wir die gesamte feministische Bewegung auf, sich mit dem Protest auf einer Demonstration diesen Freitag, den 18.06. um 17h auf dem ehe. Karlsplatz.

TW: La violencia patriarcal contra las mujeres está en todas partes y el pasado fin de semana recibimos noticias impactantes de España. Un padre de Tenerife secuestró y asesinó a sus propias hijas, dos niñas de 6 y 1 años, desaparecidas desde el 27 de abril. El jueves 10 de junio, el cuerpo sin vida de la niña de seis años fue encontrada en el fondo del mar en una bolsa, lastrada por el ancla de la barca del padre.El padre le dijo esa noche a su ex pareja que no volvería a ver jamás a las niñas. Él planeaba secuestrar a sus hijas como “venganza” contra la madre, ejerciendo así violencia vicaria, uno de los peores tipos de violencia patriarcal.

En la misma hora en que recibimos esta desgarradora noticia, tuvimos otros dos sobresaltos: el asesinato de Rocío Caíz y Elena Livigni. Rocío, una joven sevillana de 17 años que estaba desaparecida desde el 3 de junio, fue asesinada y descuartizada por su ex pareja, según confesó el jueves a las fuerzas policiales. Tenía un bebé de 4 meses. Y otra mujer joven, Elena Livigni, fue arrojada por un balcón en Ibiza por su novio. A lo largo de este año 2021, el número de feminicidios en España ha ascendido a 39. El machismo en España en los dos años anteriores cobró la vida de un total de 83 y 105 mujeres.

Además de estas noticias, el pasado jueves entró en prisión Juana Rivas, madre de dos hijos. Fue condenada injustamente por desobedecer la orden judicial de devolver a los dos niños a su padre para intentar salvarlos, ya que este ha sido denunciado en varias ocasiones por maltratarlos.

Conocemos de primera mano otro caso reciente en el que la justicia española ha declarado inocente al violador de una compañera. Y al igual que los otros, este no es un caso aislado.

El pasado fin de semana se produjeron concentraciones espontáneas frente a cada ayuntamiento de toda España para protestar contra las continuas violencias machistas y los feminicidios. Queremos solidarizarnos con el movimiento feminista en España, difundir nuestro rechazo a todo ese tipo de violencia patriarcal perpetuada también por los medios y las instituciones. Para ello llamamos a todo el movimiento feminista a solidarizarse con la protesta en una manifestación este viernes 18.06 a las 17h en la ex. Karlsplatz.

Basta ya! Estamos hartas y no toleramos ni un crimen machista más! Si nos tocan a una nos tocan a todas!

TW: Patriarchal violence towards women is everywhere and last weekend we got shocking news from Spain. A father from Tenerife kidnapped and murdered his own children, two little girls of 6y and 1y, missing since April 27th. On Thursday, Jun 10th, the dead body of the six-year-old was found at the bottom of the sea in a bag, weighed down by the anchor from the father’s boat. The father told his ex-partner that she would never see the children again. He was planning to kidnap his children as “revenge” against the mother, as a means of vicarius violence, one of the worst types of patriarchal violence.

In the same hour we got this heartbreaking news, we had another two shocks: the murderer of Rocío Caíz and Elena Livigni. Rocío, a 17yo young woman from Seville who was missing from June 3rd, was killed and dismembered by her ex-partner as he confessed to the police forces on Thursday. She had a 4 months old baby. And another young woman, Elena Livigni was thrown off a balcony in Ibiza by her boyfriend. Throughout this year 2021, the number of feminicides in Spain has risen up to 39. The sexism in Spain in the two previous years took the life out of a total of 83 and 105 women.

Besides, last Thursday Juana Rivas, mother of two children, entered into prison. She was unjustly condemned for disobeying the court order to return the two kids to their father in an attempt to save them, as he has already been reported several times to abuse them. We know first hand of another recent case in which the spanish justice system has declared innocent a rapist of a comrade. And with the others, this is not an isolated case.

Last weekend spontaneous concentrations in front of each town hall across Spain took place to protest against the continuous sexist violence and feminicides. We want to solidarize with the feminist movement in Spain, spread our rejection to all kinds of patriarchal violence perpetuated bothby the media and state institutions. To do so we call on the entire feminist movement to solidarize with the protest on a demonstration this Friday 18.06 at 17h in the ex. Karlsplatz.

Enough is enough! We are fed up and won’t tolerate another patriarcal crime anymore!
