👥✊💜 Invitation to establish a Social Center in Vienna // Einladung zum Aufbau eines Sozialen Zentrums in Wien 💜✊👥

🔘 ENGLISH 🔘 Dear friends! A few weeks ago, people met for the first time with the idea of building a social centre in Vienna. We want to create a consumption-free space that connects different local, transnational and anti-national struggles. A space for social exchange that can grow and strengthen the autonomous-solidary network of our city. A space that can fulfil needs for collective cooking, culture, education, care work, sports, etc. And we want to invite you to develop the idea further and participate in its implementation! The 4th meeting will take place next Saturday, 12.03.2022 at 15:00. If you haven’t been to a meeting yet (or haven’t for a long time), please come at 14:30. There will be an update on what has been happening, so that we are all at a similar level of knowledge by 15:00. The location will be announced.

This meeting we will take a decision. It’s about whether we want to have a process group that keeps an eye on the process and coordinates it. But of course the meeting will also be about many other topics and about getting to know each other (better).

The meeting is self-organised and open. It will be held in English or German. If you need translation for another language, please email us beforehand. Come along and write for questions, criticism and suggestions to: socialcenterwien-intro@riseup.net.

🔘 DEUTSCH 🔘 Liebe Freund*innen! Vor ein paar Wochen haben sich Menschen das 1. Mal getroffen mit der Idee, ein Soziales Zentrum in Wien aufzubauen. Wir wollen einen konsumfreien Raum schaffen, der verschiedenste lokale sowie trans- bzw antinationale Kämpfe verbindet. Einen Raum für sozialen Austausch, der das autonom-solidarische Netzwerk unserer Stadt wachsen und stärken kann. Ein Raum, der Bedürfnisse nach kollektivem Kochen, Kultur, Bildung, Plege&/Care-Arbeit, Sport usw. erfüllen kann. Und wir wollen euch dazu einladen, die Idee weiterzuentwickeln und an der Umsetzung mitzuwirken! Das 4. Treffen findet nächsten Samstag, 12.03.2022 um 15:00 statt. Wenn ihr noch bei keinem Treffen wart (oder schon lange nicht mehr) dann kommt bitte schon um 14:30. Da gibt es ein Update, was alles so passiert ist, damit wir um 15:00 alle auf ähnlichem Wissensstand sind. Der Ort wird noch bekanntgegeben.

Dieses Treffen werden wir eine Entscheidung treffen. Es geht darum, ob wir eine Prozessgruppe haben wollen, die den Prozess im Blick hat und koordiniert. Es wird aber natürlich auch um ganz viele andere Themen gehen und darum, uns untereinander (besser) kennenzulernen.

Das Treffen ist selbstorganisiert und offen. Es wird auf Englisch oder Deutsch stattfinden. Falls ihr Übersetzung für eine andere Sprache braucht, schreibt uns gerne davor eine E-Mail. Kommt vorbei und schreibe für Rückfragen, Kritik und Vorschläge an: socialcenterwien-intro@riseup.net
