Filmabend: Paths Through Utopias
This idealistic road movie takes you to places where money is worthless, where workers control their factory, where private property has been abolished. What sounds like fiction, is already reality: People are already living the post-capitalist future at this very moment – often widely unnoticed as these projects seldomly make news headlines. Paths through Utopias is a seven-month journey made in 2008 starting from an illegal climate camp next to Heathrow Airport in London, travelling through Europe to shine light on these alternative forms of living. A film that inspires and gives hope that a different life is possible – so many people all over the world are the living proof. If the film catches your interest: The filmmakers Fremeaux & Jordan also wrote a detailed book on their journey to Serbia, Spain, Denmark and many other places.
