QUEERZILLA -- (queer-)feminist festival
ENGLISH: Queerzilla is a queer feminist festival that will take place from 16h to 18th September 2022 in Simmering, Vienna . The festival will take place at SchloR, a house project (schlor.org). Invited to the festival are FLINTA* (Women Lesbian Inter Non-Binary, Trans and Agender) people and Queers. From Friday afternoon on until Sunday we want to create a space for FLINTAs and queers to network, learn from each other, exchange ideas, celebrate together and have a good time. We will start on Friday afternoon with different workshops, continue with a film screening ( + discussion) in the evening and then have a cozy end. Everyone (who wants to) can join Saturday full of workshops, information events, discussions and lectures. From the late afternoon on, we will have concerts and djanes playing music. There will be vegan food provided during the day, so you can stay at the festival all day long :) On Sunday we invite you to a brunch and exchange to let the festival come to an end together.
The entire program will be continuously updated, you can find all information at www.queerzilla.org. We will also share further information about the festival on Instagram @queerzilla_vienna. Pre-registration will be necessary for some workshops, this will be noted in invitation to the workshops. There will also be the opportunity for children to take part in workshops and there will be a separate program for kids. The grounds and premises of SchloR are barrier-free accessible. If a workshop room is not barrier-free, you’ll get a notice beforehand.

DEUTSCH: Queerzilla ist ein queer-feministisches Festival, das von 16. bis 18. September 2022 in Simmering, Wien auf dem Gelände von SchloR (schlor.org) stattfinden wird. Eingeladen zum Festival sind FLINTA (Frauen Lesben Inter Non-Binary, Trans und Agender) Personen und Queers. Von Freitag nachmittags bis Sonntag wollen wir einen Raum für FLINTAs und Queers schaffen, in dem wir uns vernetzen, voneinander lernen, uns austauschen, feiern und eine gute Zeit haben können. Freitag Nachmittag werden die ersten Workshops stattfinden. Am Abend wird es mit einem Film-Screening und gemütlichem Ausklang des Abends weitergehen, damit alle, die wollen, am Samstag frisch in den Tag voller Workshops, Infoveranstaltungen, Diskussionen und Vorträgen starten können. Am Samstag ab dem späten Nachmittag erwarten euch dann Konzerte und Auflegerei. Es wird untertags für vegane Verpflegung gesorgt sein, sodass eins den ganzen Tag am Festival bleiben kann :) Am Sonntag laden wir dann zu einem gemeinsamen Brunch und Austausch ein, um die vorigen Tage gemeinsam ausklingen zu lassen.

Für manche Workshops wird eine Voranmeldung notwendig sein, dies wird bei den jeweiligen Workshops angegeben sein. Auch wird es die Möglichkeit für Kinder geben, an Workshops teilzunehmen bzw. es auch ein gesondertes Programm für Kids geben. Das Gelände und die Räumlichkeiten von SchloR sind barrierefrei zugänglich. Sollte ein Workshop-Raum nicht barrierefrei zugänglich sein, wird dies rechtzeitig an die Teilnehmenden kommuniziert und ggf. Raum getauscht.
