Neurodivergence, accessibility and sustainability
What is neurodivergence*? What does it have to do with sustainability? Are you also neurodivergent or you have some neurodivergent people in your life who you can sometimes understand more and sometimes less? How to be an ally to neurodivergent people and how to organize movements to be welcoming, accessible and inclusive for neurodivergent people in all our diversity? Join us for the workshop about neurodivergence, sustainability and accessibility - to learn more about what neurodivergence is, to explore your own neurodivergence or try to understand others better, to make your activist practice more inclusive or to meet some more neurodivergent people and share your views and experiences!
Accessibility: (mobility); we will be attentive to making the workshop and space friendly to people with sensory sensitivities; you can decide how actively you want to participate (activities with optional small group debates); you are also welcome to only listen, if you don’t feel like talking.
*Neurodivergence is a term we use for a wide spectrum of conditions and experiences related to “different” functioning of the nervous system, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia etc.
