Rhythms of Resistance - Beginners Workshop

The Rhythms of Resistance (RoR) network of activist percussion bands comprises more than 75 separate activist drumming bands all over the world. The Vienna RoR band drums on protests to speak up against racism, sexism, patriarchy and capitalism and to fight for social and ecological justice. We are always looking for new members to keep the group open and vivid. That’s why we organize our next Beginners’ workshop to drum and get to know each other, learn about the principles and history of the RoR network and explain the basics on how we play the tunes.

The workshop takes place next Monday on 30th of October at 6pm at Einbaumöbel (Stadtbahnbögen 97, 1090 Wien). There is no level of musical experience needed, we will explain everything from scratch and it is a lot of fun! 😄
