Fred Hampton in His Own Words ✊🏾

As part of our monthly open meetings/migrantifa café, we will showcase a series of interviews and short speeches by Fred Hampton, followed by a discussion.

Fred Hampton was the chairman of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party. At the age of 21 he was assassinated by the Chicago police and the FBI. However, in his short life he helped organize a Free Breakfast for Kids program, a free health clinic, free clothing, and many other services. He helped organize a coalition between the Panthers, the Young Patriots (a white group), and the Young Lords (a Puerto Rican group) to help find solutions for shared problems such as poor housing conditions and police brutality. His life continues to inspire countless individuals, as he was a tireless organizer fully committed to the liberation of all oppressed people.

On the 29th, November, doors will open at 18:30, screening will be started at 19

Screening will be in English, discussion will be in English/German.

Join us at Modenpark 8-9, 1030, Vienna, (entrance from Grimmelshausengasse) to learn, be inspired, and discuss the life and legacy of Fred Hampton.
