Konzert: wræżlivøść | Petrolio

wræżlivøść involves intense emotions, messages, memories and experiences, blending contrasting styles beyond conventional genres. From post-romantic piano to radical electronic sounds, the final shape of the album was formed in the last two weeks of August, when Kamil Piotrowicz combined recordings made over the past year: from a noise-ambient session in New York, through home recordings in the village of Strzeń near Warsaw, to the recording of his graduation concert at the Royal Conservatory in Aarhus, Denmark.

Petrolio is a project with strong cinematographic connotations. In 2020 he created a series of sound environments for the theatrical performance “L’Architettura della Disobbedienza”, a project conceived by Francesco Fassone, presented at various Italian festivals with an intense performance in September at AstiTeatro21. This record was born from the need to translate these landscapes into constructed and meditated tracks, adding noises and perceptions captured in the two evenings in which Petrolio participated live with his own music.
