The Vienna elections are approaching and we want to show once again that we are uniting against the shift to the right and hatred in the politics. Right-wing extremists specifically threatening and hunting down gay people and immigrants show that hatred is not just an abstract threat. In Vienna as well, political concepts, parties and people are running for elections that propel hatred and the image of the dangerous ‘Other’ instead of fighting for a life of solidarity with one another.

4lthangrund is such a cultural space that protects culture and neighbourhood solidarity. Currently, the rental contract for the space ends after 2025. After this period, the future of over 35 groups and initiatives that are part of 4Ithangrund is not secure.
