Writing letters to the Imprisoned! @ infoladenEKH

Diesen Donnerstag gibt es, neben den regulären Öffnungszeiten des Infoladens/ Bibliothek im EKH auch wieder die Möglichkeit gemeinsam Briefe an Menschen in Gefangenschaft zu verfassen! Komm vorbei zum Schreiben, Stöbern und sich Austauschen! Wie immer gibt es ab 19Uhr auch wieder feines Essen und Drinks in der Unheizbar nebenan.

This Thursday, apart form our regular opening times of the infoshop/library in EKH, there will be again the possibilty to write letters to people in Imprisonment together! Come by for writing, browsing or exchange! As always there will also be fine food and drinks after 19h at the Unheizbar next door. :)

[english version below!] **Brechen wir die Isolation! **

Unzählige Menschen sitzen in unzähligen Knästen dieser Welt. Weil sie sich für ihr eigenes oder das Leben anderer eingesetzt haben und das in unserem System nunmal oft bestraft wird. Ob im Alltag wegen Klauen oder Schwarzfahren, wegen Organisation und direkter Aktion gegen Faschos, Fundis, den Staat; gegen Imperialismus und Grenzen; gegen Ausbeutung von Mensch und Natur… Als solidarische Menschen können wir ein bisschen Zeit investieren und diesen gefangenen Gefährt*innen - bekannten und unbekannten - Briefe und Postkarten schreiben um ihnen in ihrer Gefangenschaft zu zeigen, dass sie nicht alleine und vergessen sind. Diese Solidarität wollen wir heute praktisch anwenden - und zum Weitermachen motivieren. Material (Postkarten, Umschläge, etc.), Adressen, sowie Input zum erleichterten Losstarten halten wir bereit. Bis bald!

Let’s break their isolation!

Countless People are held in countless prisons on this earth. Because they put their lives on the line for themselves or others, and this is often enough to be punished in our system. Whether due to shoplifting or fare-evading, through organising and direct action against fascists, fundamentalists and the state; against imperialism and borders; against exploitation of people and nature… As people in solidarity we can invest a bit of our time to write letters and postcards to these unknown and known comrades - to show them that in their time and space of imprisonment, they are not alone or forgotten. Today we want to put this solidarity into practice and motivate to carry it on. Material (postcards, envelopes, etc.), addresses, as well as Inputs to ease into the writing process, will be provided.
