GRŪ_ & JD ZAZIE operate at the intersection of experimental sound, performance, and real-time manipulation. Their duo combines object-based sonic research with radical approaches to recorded media, creating performances that unfold between composition, improvisation, and technological systems. Working under the alias Grū_, Grgur Savić explores sound as a physical, transformable material through performance, composition, and visual–sonic systems. By deconstructing objects, most notably the saxophone, and employing MAX/MSP-based processes, his practice investigates resonance, vibration, and human–machine co-creation in real time. Coming from a DJ and radiophonic background, JD ZAZIE develops live performances through the real-time manipulation of fixed recorded sound, redefining DJing and electroacoustic practice toward free improvisation and composed forms. Together, they create dynamic performance systems based on listening, decoding, and response, where sound, objects, and recorded matter are continuously transformed and re-heard.
