Stokely Carmichael (Kwame Ture) was a key figure in the civil rights movement during the 1960s. He is often credited with sparking the Black power movement. He was a member of the Student non-violent coordinating committe, the black panther party, and the all-African people’s revolutionary party. His speeches and writings still serve as important source on the role of violence in revolutionary movements, pan-Africanism, and racism.

Donations will be collected for people affected in Iran by the war and massacres, a fundraiser organized by @sanazaz.
