Before we chat over good food, you can join a workshop in the framework of our project “Voice 4 Youth”. The project aims to strengthen community bonds and social engagement skills among young adults in Vienna.

One of our moderators will give a quick introduction to the format and then we will experience a storytelling café as participants. Afterward we will reflect on it as a method for our own social engagement.

Storytelling Cafés focus on the personal experience. They provide space for speaking, listening and resonance. They have potential to resolve high stakes debates by enabling exchange on difficult topics. Moderating and hosting such a space can be a difficult but rewarding experience – and is a valuable skill!
